Counseling
Counseling is provided to individuals living with a mental illness by Murtis Taylor Mental Health therapists. Counseling provides a framework for an individual to work toward internal changes through insight, understanding, problem-solving, and addiction/behavioral intervention or support that helps an individual cope with stressful events that trigger a crisis.
Addiction Treatment
Individuals living with a mental illness, who also have substance use or addiction problem, receive mental health and substance abuse services to assist in their recovery.
Medication Management
Physicians, Advanced Practice Nurses, and Registered Nurses educate, speak with, and manage each individual to ensure that the individual understands the diagnosis, symptoms, medications taken and potential side effects. Medication Management services are provided at two locations:

Mental Health Case Management
A Case Manager provides management and coordination of mental health and addiction services. The Case Manager provides support and assists individuals in obtaining needed services in the community. Case Management services also build resilience and improve and assist an individual to succeed in the community. Services are provided in the home as needed.
